The Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau (CCVB) is seeking candidates to fill the newly created position of COO. This position will report to the President and CEO and be a key member of the senior leadership team. Candidates will be experienced senior level leaders with a minimum 10 years management experience; sales, marketing and operations management preferred, including five years of people management. The COO will manage five direct reports and an overall team of approximately thirty people. Qualifications will also include an exceptional capacity for managing and leading a diverse team of people; team building and scaling up an organization; ability to connect with staff both on an individual level and in large groups, maintaining accountability, cultivating entrepreneurship, and enabling staff to succeed. It will be critical the successful candidate partner with the CEO to represent the CCVB with external constituency groups via individual meetings, public addresses, and written material to establish and maintain ongoing effective communications. A Bachelor’s degree in business is preferred or equivalent work related experiences. MBA is a plus.
