Partner Relations Coordinator
Visit Canton
The purpose of this position is to execute outreach to engage industry partners, onboard new industry partners, facilitate industry partner communication, and assist with industry partner programs.
The essential functions and significant activities that must be performed to carry out the purpose of the position as described include:
- Execute outreach to engage and onboard industry partners, acclimating with all applicable organization programs and initiatives.
- Promote industry partner program participation, including attendance at networking and professional development events, Exploreboard profiles, Destination Signals advertising, Travel Guide ads, etc.
- Assist industry partners with frequently asked questions about all organization programs, grants, and sales and marketing initiatives.
- Execute industry partner communications, including website content, email communications, social media posts, etc.
- Communicate industry partner news and updates for marketing content and promotions.
- Maintain, update, and audit industry partner data and business listings in iDSS.
Qualifications required to perform the duties of this position include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships
- Well-organized with the ability to handle multiple requests and projects
- Strong computer skills with competency in Microsoft Office products
- Schedule flexibility for availability at special events and meetings as needed/requested
- Prefer experience in the tourism industry
- Prefer CRM experience
This position is full-time and classified as non-exempt.
