America-250 Ohio Grants Webinar Recording is Available
Deadline for Fall Cycle is Nov. 17
As OTA shared previously, America 250-Ohio is offering grants for non-profit (including 501 ( c ) 6 organizations), educational, and local governmental organizations to support programming and activities to commemorate and celebrate the upcoming semiquincentennial.

The AM250-OH Commission has identified the following themes for Ohio’s Celebration and Commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the U.S.
- Celebrations and Signature Events: Impacting Tourism and Economic Development
- Ohio Originals: Highlighting Points of Pride & Unity
- Engaging Youth and Lifelong Learners: Education & Scholarship
- Inclusive Statewide Engagement: Museums, Arts & Culture
- Telling Ohio Stories: Highlighting stories of Ohioans past and present
Fall 2023 Cycle
- Grant Guidelines and Application Released: Oct. 16, 2023
- Grant Applications due: Nov. 17, 2023
Winter 2024 Cycle
- Grant Application available: Jan. 15, 2024
- Grant Applications due: March 1, 2024
Grant Funding Levels:
Buckeye Impact Grants
- Grant amounts up to $50,000
- Projects should have a statewide, regional, or significant local impact.
- Project types may include significant exhibitions, regional commemorative activities, substantial digital and documentary media projects, and signature public events.
Trillium Local Activity Grants
- Grant amounts up to $5,000
- Projects should have a local or community-wide impact.
- Project types may include exhibitions, exhibits, interpretative panels, local commemorative programs or activities, local public events, educational and public programs, and smaller digital and documentary media projects.
Non-profits registered with the State of Ohio, educational, and local governmental organizations located in Ohio. Individual artists, authors, or performers must apply through a fiscal agent/sponsor.
