Two Updates from TourismOhio
Call for Fall Content (Due TODAY!) and Travel Guide Verification
1. Call for Content: Fall in Ohio - DUE TODAY!
TourismOhio's fall planning is underway and there are two opportunities for you to participate in their fall promotional content.
- Corn Maze Trail: Now Accepting New Locations: Launched last year, the corn maze trail celebrates a Midwest classic. This year, TourismOhio is expanding its trail and invites you to submit your corn maze for inclusion. To showcase this family-friendly fall experience, click here to submit yours.
- Expanding Ohio Historical Underground Railroad Trail: September is designated as National Underground Railroad Month and TourismOhio requests your recommendations for additional historical sites to be included. Click here to make your submission.
Both forms need to be submitted by Friday, Aug. 14.
2. Ohio Travel Guide Verification
Now is the time to promote your destination on Ohio.org and in the 2027 Ohio Travel Guide. TourismOhio needs your help to provide travelers with the most up-to-date and inspiring travel ideas. Starting Aug. 13, please verify the information for your destination. The deadline to verify the accuracy of your listings and events is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
The Ohio.org destination database is a primary way in which we can help you reach a wider audience. Thank you in advance for visiting Ohio.org/Publications to verify your information so that we have what is necessary for the 2027 Ohio Travel Guide and on Ohio.org. Please note that because of page count, we will be pulling listings for the following categories: Things to Do; Places of Interest; Sports & Recreation; History & Heritage; Convention & Visitors Bureaus; Breweries; Wineries & Vineyards; Distilleries.
How to Verify Ohio Travel Guide Listings
- Log on to Ohio.org/Publications. Go to "How Do I Get Listed" and click "Login to Database." You can also login directly by clicking here. If you have forgotten your password, please use the Forgot Password function.
- Review your listing information and make any changes needed.
- Click the box at the bottom of the webpage that says you've verified your listing. (Even if the verification check box is clicked, you must click it again at this time.)
- Click the box at the bottom of the webpage to publish your listing in the Ohio Travel Guide.
- Your saved information will then be shared with the publisher and updated on Ohio.org.
- Deadline: 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9.
